Fuel testing is important because not all deficiencies are visible.

Clean Fuel & Tank utilizes a professional third-party lab for fuel analysis. Lab analysis is required by some industries and a good idea for all. Specific tests can be suited to your environment and industry needs. In south west Florida we typically run the following LSD 103 tests:

Fuel testing before remediation can reveal items that need to be addressed. Testing after remediation confirms the actions taken have been successful.

At Clean Fuel and Tank, our mobile fuel polishing machines allow us deliver results at speed of time.

Flow rate is an important aspect to good results, so we pare systems to the size and type of tank being cleaned. The turbidity created with proper a proper flow rate cleans out what others leave behind. We utilize equipment able to filter fuel at 24 up to 150 gallons per minute. That speed allows us to remove water, sludge, sediments and microbial growth that naturally accumulate in diesel fuel tanks to restore diesel fuel to a clear, bright, and pristine condition.

Water and sediment affect the life of fuel filters and can cause damage to injectors and fuel pumps and cause rust in metal fuel tanks. CFT experts guarantee 99% water and sediment free fuel after our removal process. 

Occasionally fuel needs to be transferred to tank for a variety of reasons. Our trusted state of the art systems will guarantee the cleanliness of the fuel being transferred to protect the integrity of the fuel for future use. 

While water and sediment contamination in fuel can only be removed by filtration, there are many issues that can only be corrected with chemicals.
 
Microbial growth, for instance must be killed with chemicals then filtered out for removal. Large colonies of live growth can be removed by filtration, but small amounts can pass through even a 1-micron filter. Killing the micro-organism is essential to total removal.
 
Other deficiencies in fuel can be corrected or enhanced such as,

• Surfactant-Not recommended! Emulsifies water in fuel. Detrimental for Tier 4 Engines.
